ABOUT CANADA-CHINA FRIENDSHIP SOCITY OTTAWA

The Canada-China Friendship Society of Ottawa (CCFSO) is a non-profit volunteer organization formed in 1976 to help Canadians learn more about China through public lectures, cultural events, and social gatherings

  • Speaker Series: The group hosts regular monthly lectures covering Chinese history, culture, politics, and contemporary developments.

  • Community Events: They celebrate the Chinese New Year with an annual banquet featuring traditional food and cultural performances, alongside maintaining active local community ties.

  • Local Engagement: The society interacts with cultural programs and local institutions
