On January 20, 2014 the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Zhang Junsai, invited members of the Canada-China Friendship Society to a buffet reception on the occasion of the Chinese New Year. Approximately 100 members of the Society attended. The reception was preceded by a tea service offered by embassy staff. The Ambassador spoke about recent political and economic developments in China. Following the dinner a number of door prizes were awarded. Embassy link.
